Designetics is recognized as the leader in fluid applicators and applicator systems – a reputation earned through our focus on solving customers’ problems and our ability to meet delivery requirements. In fact, even when faced with the supply chain crisis that manufacturers (and consumers) have dealt with over the past several years, Designetics has been able to consistently meet our customers’ lead-time expectations – whether for quick-turnaround prototypes or for high-volume production orders.
Don’t get us wrong, we didn’t escape the effects of the supply chain crisis – but we have put measures in place to manage it and avoid passing headaches along to our customers. How?
All Designetics applicators are made in-house at our Holland, OH facility, so we can ensure you get an applicator that meets or exceeds your expectations for performance and lead time.
At Designetics, we strive to make our employees’ lives better by giving back. Take our Designetics Cares foundation, which works to transform the lives of our employees and the next generation in our community by providing the means to grow through education, success, and personal health initiatives.

Quick Fluid Applicator Prototypes for Every Challenge
When you have a new fluid application challenge, one of the most important tasks is to find the right applicator and test it in real-world conditions. But designers and engineers don’t have weeks or months to procure a fluid applicator, test it, make adjustments, and wait again for the next prototype to arrive for another round of testing. This is why Designetics uses every tool at our disposal to get you the right applicator the first time – whether it’s one of our existing designs or a prototype of a new design – so you can keep your development and manufacturing process moving.
In fact, Designetics has a complete rapid prototyping process, and as part of this process, we’ve implemented state-of-the-art 3D printing so we can create fluid applicator prototypes on-demand with a short lead time. Not only do we have the highest level of fluid application expertise in the industry, we’ve also developed expertise around 3D printing processes and materials, so we can design the right applicator for your process, print samples in-house, and get them to you quickly for prototyping and testing. Our 3D printed applicator bases are durable and resistant to most chemicals, so they work with almost any fluid application challenge.
We use 3D printed bases for new designs so we can deliver complete fluid applicator prototypes to our customers in a matter of days – not weeks.

Asking Fluid Applicator Questions Leads to the Best Results
When you work with Designetics, you’ll notice that we don’t just take down a few pieces of information and suggest a fluid applicator or application system. Instead, we do a deep dive and ask questions – about your fluid and substrate, your current process and challenges, and your goals. And we listen.
Our process is thorough because we know that one size doesn’t fit all. And even though we have a catalog of thousands of fluid applicators, we won’t try to force-fit an existing product or solution into your process. In fact, developing custom applicators and applicator systems is what we do – that’s how we’ve built such an extensive portfolio of products and solutions.
Each of our applicators was designed for a specific fluid, substrate, and geometry. And if an existing applicator doesn’t fit your needs, we’re experts at creating custom fluid applicators for both manual and automated systems.
