Designetics Now Offers cULus Listed Precision Pump Panels

Fluid dispensing system certification.

As the leader in fluid applicators and automated fluid application systems, Designetics has worked hard since our founding to ensure that all our products are designed to increase the safety of workers and the environment. And to further demonstrate our commitment to worker safety, we’re happy to announce that we now have the capability to have our precision pump panels cULus listed, according to the UL 508A program.

The cULus listing is applicable to our e3mini and e3multi pump panels, and gives users, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, and OEMs the confidence that these products meet the safety requirements for electrical enclosures set out in both the U.S. and Canadian standards. Having a product that is cULus listed also eases the safety inspection process often required for equipment installed in industrial facilities.

The cULus listed mark indicates that the product has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories and meets both U.S. and Canadian safety standards for electrical equipment.

It’s important to note that although UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is often associated with safety testing for products sold into the U.S. market, it is also recognized by CSA Group (the Standards Development Organization in Canada) as an accredited Certification Body that can test and list products to the applicable Canadian safety standards.

In addition to ensuring that our products increase the safety of workers and the environment, Designetics also manufactures our products to applicable safety standards for their use and markets.

Not every fluid application solution requires UL listing – but if your application or customer requires a pump panel that is UL listed to meet U.S. or Canadian electrical safety standards, just inform us during the consultation process, and we’ll ensure that the finished product is supplied with the cULus listing. If you have a new fluid handling application, or if you want to explore options for automating an existing application, give us a call. We’d love to discuss how our automated systems can help you meet your goals for safety, productivity, and return on investment.
