Designetics Gives Back to its Community
That’s why Designetics develops a series of events during the summer months aimed at giving back to its surrounding community as it is important for everyone to donate time – we all have this to give. For example, the charitable foundation of the company, called Designetics Cares, regularly engages employees to volunteer with packing products, cleanup and renovation efforts. These projects allow employees to work in the community, and many times, the sunshine, getting a bit of fresh air and most importantly, contribute to changing the lives of the less fortunate.
The dog days of summer also allow the company to give back to its employee base, by sponsoring sports teams and company health challenges, which are designed to instill camaraderie among employees and provide encouragement for exercise and healthy activity. In addition, the company conducts regular outings as an employee perk; in the past, Designetics has sponsored outings to see Toledo Mud Hens baseball games and has organized gatherings at local attractions like trips to Cedar Point amusement park.
So, while most people look forward to the coming months as a means of vacation or relaxation, Designetics looks forward to summer for an additional reason: for good.
